It is the most fantastic number... it appears in several situation in nature...
Examples: 1)take your credit card... it has a beautiful format... the Greek new that... measure the both side and you will find two number... divide the big measure for the other and you Will find a result near 1.618...
2) Measure your height and the distance from your feet to your navel. Divide the first for the second... 1.618...

Its a Concept. Its not just a number. Its a Numeric concept of space and time. And Perfection. An artist friend of mine told me once he Drew a sketch to the perportion of PHI and he showed me. It was beyond creepy. It was like seeing something that we are not ment to see. Its hard to discribe.

read the davinci code... if you did and thats why your asking, i dont blame you because it confused the cra p out of me too. but heres a little brain teaser if you didnt read it... the number of bees in the world is phi which is the same as the distance between the tips of your extended arms compared to your height, and so is the length of your feet compared to the length of your knee to the ground. Sorry I forgot most of it. PH 7 is salt Everything is either acid or basic, If u Trace HCL and start mixing in caustic soda the Mix point is PH7 or table salt & water. This would eliminate most hazardous chemicals,in fact it is the technique used by mother nature. Oh yes I can't rember which is 0 and which is 14,sorry about that.
