It is not a scam. But neither is it a charity. You are expected to meet your promised payment obligations. You will pay an interest rate reflecting your credit record and standing. Lousy credit history means a high rate. It's a great solution for many borrowers, as even the high interest rates on Propser are a fraction of the sharks like paycheck lenders.

I think the Better Business Bureau has set standards. I have not used this business. I do find more legit offers with that stamp of approval on certain sights, example Proctor and Gamble etc. Just be careful. Their is alot of scams out there these days! Good luck on your decision!

I lend on prosper. It is a legit site. But it doesn't guarantee that you are going to get your money. If you have bad credit, lots of lates, are in a rate capped state or other issues, you may not get funded. I suggest checking out their forums to learn more about how it all works and what lenders are looking for.

It is a scam.
They put in the contract to prevent anyone to file a complaint to the better business bureau or else that person is going to be sued by their best lawyer.
Get out of it immediately.
They will try to scam you out of thousands of dollars.
