When I get them done, I get them long, and french tip (sometimes) the full set to put on when I get them are never over 30. with tip. But I'm in Cali and it may depend of on the state where you live and the place, Ive had friends who've gotn taken for at nail places, shorter nail, (and not as nice as mine, and that is their words!) french tip, and they've paid 40. without tip!!
Also you are considering the fact of the difference in price for when you first get them on "full set" & when you go in and get them "filled" right? and all the different prices for the little things, "color change", "cut", "french manicure" as to a regular "manicure" etc.
Next time when you go in have them break down the entire bill
the full set= $ ?
if you get white tips=$ ? or the nail polish to be french tip= $ ? etc. thats what I do everytime I go to somewhere new or havent been to in a while. So I know for next time and be able to say "uh no, I got the same thing and paid this$, how come its different now"

I pay $25, if your going to the same place and they are charging you different prices all the time, then maybe you should ask, How much is your set price and find out, I would feel a bit cheated if my salon did that to me.

I go to the nail salon in Wal-Mart. They are very reasonable. The full set is $35.00, then the retouch is much less ($17.00). Tip is extra. They are accessible, have long hours of operation, and they do a fantastic job-I have never had a nail come off.
Hope this helps.

It depends on where you go. I charge $40 for a full set and $20 for fills...that's gels. I don't like to do acrylic but have charged $35 for those, fills are the same.

Well, think about it like this: the products used + amount of time involved+ person's time and skill= price. Businesses don't just come up with a random number. If you look at it this way it makes sense. And usually 20-25$ sounds about right.

I usually pay $25 for white tip/french tip. $35 seems pretty steep for nails.
