yes it is. that bbc motto: staying in is the new going out, is a pile of shite. it is bloody well not! if you want to have a good time on a friday/saturday night, then i suggest you go out clubbing, go to the cinema, eat out. its far better than sitting on your **** at home doing jack-all and watching some crappy reality tv/drama dirge on TV.
so yes i agree with you that weekend TV is undeniably crap!!

Watch Five on saturdays nights, thats very entertaining, nothing else for the whole weekend though sadly!

Yes it is. Not just on week ends. There are times we can't find a good movie during the week either. We always pop in a DVD at this time.
