I thought science suggested, and it was commonly believed that they did in fact hunt in pairs or very small groups....

amosunknown may be right but I think they're a bit big for pack hunting, especially when compared to known pack hunters such as Velociraptor, or the larger Deinonychus.

I thought science rather hinted at T-Rex having feathers. (That would sure plant disturbing images into the minds of many people, from young children to myself, who grew up with the lizard-of-prey stereotype)
