I like them grilled, but the campfire will suffice....Can a crock pot or broiler be an option?

Wein is German for 'wine', so with 'weiner' I suppose you mean some sort of wine cooler, bottle opener or something. Well, whatever you mean, I am sure it should not be cooked. Glühwein, the warm wine that is served in Germany at christmas, is very nice. Neither a campfire or mictrowave are suitable for it though.
Perhaps however I am all wrong and you mean 'wiener', which is a popular term for a small sausage that was invented in Vienna, 'Wien' in the German language. In that case I would chose to grab a frying pan, olive oil and some herbs in an attempt to give it some taste. Whether you should put wieners in a microwave or over a fire is hardly a question of taste, but then you might be an American and as such forgiven the ignorance.
