Just depends on which one you like the best. The differences? Plenty. For one thing, DC is the original superheroic universe. For another, Marvel brought emotion and personality to their heroes in the Sixties. They have each put out both excellent and mediocre work.

Both universes have some very good comic titles but Marvel is in the lead when it comes to movies. DC should make some more movies like Wonder woman, supergirl(remake it please the one from the 80's was just awful)Legion of superheroes, and many other titles would be great on the big screen. With all the special effects they do now superheroes have never looked better.

I enjoy the DC universe more. DC's universe tends to value continuity/history more than Marvel. Whether that's a good thing or not is up to the individual.

I've gotta say DC is the better universe. The main difference nowadays seems to be that DC places more value on the tradition of secret identities. Marvel takes a more "real-world" approach to it, with Captain America, Iron Man, Daredevil, & Spider-Man all coming out(with their secret identities, you perverts) in various different ways in recent years.

DC hands down. It's all about history and DC's is richer than Marvel's in my opinion. Besides without DC, Marvel might not even exist.

Neither.
The quality of a comic book is not dependent on characters, continuity, or universes. The best comics are from good creators. The artists and writers who create them, no matter what company they are published by.

If I had to get stuck LIVING in one or the other, I'd have to say DC. It makes more sense.

I like them both and collect titles from each. The only difference is unless it is a crossover book they never run into characters from each company.
