I'm not sure what Internet Explorer has to do with this. If you are simply trying to get away from I.E.? You can do this with any ISP. Download Firefox and use that instead of I.E.

ISP means Internet Service Provider. That is the place you pay for your computer to be connected to the internet. You can avoid the ISP altogether if you hang out at places that have wireless connections as long as you have a laptop you can haul around and as long as it has wireless capabilities.

Yahoo can host your e-mail accounts. Some of that without cost. As someone else said, Microsoft Explorer is what we call a web browser. Several web browsers exist and are multi-platform (i.e., they work on PC, Mac, and other systems): Netscape and Firefox are quite similar in the way they look and feel. Safari is made only for the Mac.

It isn't clear to me what you're asking. If you mean you don't like Internet Explorer as a web browser, check out Firefox. It's free to download and use. If you mean use yahoo instead of msn as a portal, where you go to check your email and such, sure you can switch. If you really mean ISP, I think in some places yahoo teams up with broadband providers, but I don't know any details on that.

Yahoo is not an ISP, but they are affiliated with ATT/SBC, I believe.
