I believe that because you want to do something you want to do, then you will get there in he end.
Try to stay calm, listen to nice music, not to Loud stuff.
When you do feel that you are getting a bit stressed out,sit down in a comfortable Chair, close your eyes and just take Deep Breathes.and keep thinking nice things.

OK, it will take patience with yourself and a bit more discipline.
Try exercising just a little more than you already do. Don't make it feel oppressive because that would be stress-inducing. Just enough to let off steam, to move your body around without hurting yourself or anyone else.
Also try to find a way to escape the bombardment of noise (traffic, family, media, advertising, etc. etc.) once in a while; it will help stave off a build-up of stress, anger, rage, impatience.
Luck.

You can take vitamin suppliments, such as high doses of magnesium, which have been shown to have a huge calming affect in ADHD, essentail fatty acids ( omega 3,6,and 9 combined) ask in a health food shop. Definately worth you looking up on Patrick Holfords web site or his book called optimal nutrition for the mind. seriously these things have been found to work better than conventional medicine!!
good luck

as for my personal experience i would never give tablets to any kid, as every problem has natural solution, i dont know what kind of ADHD you have, so i dont really know what i could advice you,
i mean i dont know what is problem in your case, if you are just hiperactive than there is no really problem, i assume that what is your main problem is that you were on drugs, so you can not join army, so say thx to your parants, as in fact in army hyperactive people are very useful as you need to move a lot ;)
but if your problem is that you can not focus on single assigment than you need to start train it, how? well, try yoga, helps control and increase your pshisical strenghts, avarege yoga training takes like 2 hours ;) anyway the one i do from time to time,
other thing that helps you manage your emotions is orgasm, at least 1 per 3 days, but for me one a day works the best so i can easly control myself during the day,
meditation works well too
if you like sport activities try to find some karate or kung-fu school as there they will teach you how to meditate and control your emotions,
you can alwywas visit some buddhist centre
i train karate since im 8 years old, i know how to meditate and control myself, and i never hit anyone first ;)
so i can say it works for me ;)
anyway instead of drugs i would recommend you some martial arts.

This may be the only time I've heard of a health problem being a blessing. By the time the 3 years are over, maybe you will have lost the impulse to go get yourself killed.

there's only one way, and that's vigorous exercise, which helps stress and anger - also it will get you into shape to join the army - try an aerobics class and weight training or just run

You haven't got ADHD, you were badly and inadequately parented, and not taught self-respect and discipline, and therefore have unresolved personal issues. Now's your chance to deal with those issues.
