I found out I was expecting twins at 9 weeks and the hospital recommended not flying at all... not even a 2 hour flight to spain. Its usually safe up to 28 weeks but I guess with multiples the risks are higher.

Yes sure you can. I flew (in a plane!) at around that time. However, the smells of the food on the plane made me feel rather queasy.
It is in the last months of pregnancy that airlines won't have you (after eight months I think) without a doctor's letter. Also, I know two people who went into premature labour at seven months after flying. I guess it is good to check your doctor at that stage.

Yes, it's not problem at all! It stars to be a risk flying up to 7 months of pregnancy. I took the plane from Dublin to Madrid pregnant of six months and a half and nothing happen, so enjoy your trip! :-)

As far as I know you are not suppose to fly in the 1st Trimester as it is a high risk time for you and baby. However, double check with you midwife.

Check with your doctor first but Air travel is perfectly safe until your 3rd trimester.
