He called me this morning to see if we were rained out and of course we were and I told him I had been smoking a lot of pot lately but I plan on giving up on it so i can move up in my career and he seemed happy and said he knew I had been smoking that's why he hasn't drug tested me in 10 months, he said if I need help and I can't quit by myself then he will help me out! I do need to quit since I work in an oil refinery, it already blows up all the time and I've been lucky so far :)

Wow, you're boss is great and you are so lucky. Try not to push your luck too far and start cutting back or even go cold turkey. This kind of 'bliss' never lasts long. Wishing you the best

Well if you really do have a problem smoking I hope you can quit or at least not smoke at work or near your job.

Sounds like you owe it to yourself, your family, AND your boss to quit. You've got yourself a good boss and that's rare. And always good to know that you've got a shoulder to lean on should you need help quitting.
