being a collector of comics sense 1989 i was wondering how many females out there collect comics, i dont mean archive, but real dramatic comics...like lady death, xmen titles, dc, marvel and such. i have around 3000. i love comics. to me they have to be well drawn and great story line. not like the comics created by cartoons like the animaniac's or the simpsons.

I do. I prefer good art with a good story. Esoteric story is ok too...like Dawn, and the other stuff from Linsner. I used to collect alot of Xmen but not so much now that I don't date a comic nut case. I think that girls that are into comics are a special breed and pretty rare. I love comic cons too, especially when a favorite artist or writer attends. My ex draws comic art, at least he used to. He has art in D&D books and a Magic card, he's good. He's the one that got me onto comics. My husband is more of an anime guy, but that's cool too.

My girlfriend and I both collect comics, toys, and Magic cards.
Witchblade, Darkchylde, Spawn, Fathom, Bite Club, lots of Marvel and DC. together we have (not exact) maybe 3000 comics or more.
