I used to work for Kawasaki you dont want to go to dealer because they will want vin and it is registerd to owner and if has been stolen before you can report it on youre vin # and if it comes up as stolen you will get in trouble regardlessif you knew or not . This used to happen alot... I f you dont care just take vin# to atv and have a kawasaki dealer order a new key...

I am not insisting that you stole a 4-wheeler..sorry if it sounds that way.

stamped somewhere on the ignition switch is a 4, 5, or 6 digit number. take that number to your kawasaki dealer and have a key cut. About $5.00.

get a wiring diagram from a dealer and bypass the ignition.Usually there is a simple on off switch you can wire in to take the place of the stock ignition. You can also look on E-Bay for a replacement ignition with a key.

Bring the ignition switch to a locksmith. Call around for the best price. Probably less than $50.
