Ummm.. how are you going to lock it? or are you just going to sleep with it unlocked? Maybe I just don't know too much about most public storage units, but the ones I've seen must be locked from the outside... I wouldn't want to leave it unlocked or to somehow get locked into it if I were you.

I don't think it's illegal however usually they have security guards and guard dogs and might find you there. Then you might get a misdemeanor for transpassing after hours. Is a criminal mark on your record worth quietness for exams?
Here in town we have a coupleof storage places wherein people have set up businesses inside them, put in electric and other facilities.
I would suggest you find and pay for a hotel for a few days so you can study, or stay with a quiet friend or quiet relative.

Lol, that's funny, um well if you're serious, I'd call another public storage rental place, possibly in another city or state (if it's a chain) and ask. Then go from there. Good luck!

read your storage contract as far as legality. it gets either really cold or really hot in a storage unit. and spiders that like dark areas. if it has electric, i dont see why not, but sounds unsafe,. watch out for security.

YES!!! They have security guards patrolling these places.I don't know about it being legal or not, you would have to check with the owner or manager when you fill out the paperwork.

You might get away with it on rare occasion but they probably have a night watchman and are not zoned as a residential property.

Yeah, I think a big company like that has ways to monitor that.
