I am expecting March 4, 2007 with my first. I would love to have the bedding be made by myself, so I can have everything to match as well, curtains, ect.

Does anyone have the measurements for the standard size crib bedding?

Thank you so much

38X24X2.
I'd go to a store or garage sale and buy one, and take measurements from that. I believe the one above is not long enough on the sides (2".)

That could end up being alot of work. They sell nursery sets with bedding, sheets, curtains, crib bumpers, etc. Plus, you're going to be changing those sheets so much you're not going to care if it matches after awhile. Just buy a nice matching set (sometimes it's called bed-in-a-bag and they have those for cribs too). Good luck and congrats on the little one!

I agree with Fierce. Yes, it's a nice thought, but your baby will spit up on those crib sheets so much, or soak through her diaper, you're going to have to change those sheets about once a week or more. So unless you plan on taking the time to make several different sets of sheets (WAY too much work) then I'd just go ahead and buy a cute nursery set. They sell all kinds of matching things, including curtains on Babies 'R Us and other baby stores. Plus as much as fabric and sewing notions cost these days, it's almost as expensive as just buying a set as it is to sew one!

If you want something to sew, sew a special baby blanket made just for your baby, or make your baby her first stuffed teddy bear. These will be something they'll treasure much more than a crib set, plus it's a lot less work for you. And you should be resting while you're pregnant!

You may want to go to Walmart and look on the packaging of some crib sheets to get those figures.
