you can usually find out by the vin # that on older trucks is located on the door jamb or on a plate on the firewall. this is not 100% accurate, but on the parking light lens are a series of numbers and the last 2 digits are the year.

there used to be a way of telling by the small circular logo on any of the window glass,If you know the decade,there will be a small dot above one of the letters in the logo,count from the start of the word and whichever the dot is above is the year.ie if the dot is above the 3rd letter its a '63 if above the fourth letter a '64 etc
