I would say the best thing to do is follow the following steps:
¬1. Compress the file(s) to one file and add a password to your compression
¬2. Go to the following website: http://www.rogepost.com/
¬2.(i) Click Browse
(ii) Choose the compressed file you just compressed
(iii) Click on [Upload] and wait for the uploading to finish
¬3. "Congratulations! Your file was successfully uploaded." copy the url which is shown.
¬4. Access from anywhere! But dont forget the password which you set for the compressed file, that way noone can access that file, except those who have the password...

I guess by now you have heard of USB wands etc. If by some chance you are using an older PC without a USB port you may be able to compress your file then email it to a friend who has writable CD or DVD.
Happy days

If you have a USB port on your computer, why not buy a 512 mb flash drive, or pen drive. They are really cheap - I have 4 of them they cost around £10 each. You can get them in Gigabytes now too. They are now used instead of floppy disks. Brilliant.

Get yourself a memory stick from a computer shop. It works by attaching it to your USB port and it appears as another drive on your desktop. I don't know the maximum size you can get but know you can buy 1 Gig sticks which are OK for most people.

Buy one of the cheap USB jump drives, or you could get a gmail account and email it there and retrieve the file at whatever location you are transferring it to.

buy a cheap usb storage drive, or you can send it trough AIM or another instant messageing client for free. You could probably email a 16 MB file, unless your internet service has a lmit on attachments.

Buy a cheap USB flash drive and copy it onto there.
If you don't want to do that it would help to know what size the file is to see if you could upload it to a file-server.
