I want to buy Proactiv, but I don't have the money. I have acne, ever since I was in 4th grade. I've tried a lot, but it seems to have never worked for me. I'm entering high school now, & I know I shouldn't give in to peer pressure, but even I don't like the way I look. What should I do? My parents won't buy it for me. Do you know any other products that work really well?

Don't look for proactiv in stores they are to expansive go to a local drug store they sometimes have Proactiv cuz it really does work.

if u cant find it them here are some tips to keep skin clear

1- wash face twice a day with hot water and soap then quickly put Swedish lotion
2- stay relaxed try not to be stressed it makes u brake out
3-eat FRUIT believe me it really does help ur skin and exercise every day for at least 30 minutes
4-try to not put make up alot or chemicals makes it irritate
5- eat vitamin pills

Hope i have helped u a lot i wish the best for u :)

Wal-mart has something similar to Proactiv- called AcneFree. I've tried it, and it doesn't work half as well as Proactiv. I'd sit down with your parents, and talk to them about how embarrasing acne is. I konw they have 'trial' sizes, which lasts for a month for like $20 or somewhere clsoe to that. See if they will buy that one for you, and try it out for a month, and let them see the results. If that doesn't work, tell them you'll work the prioce off, in chores like laundry, dishes, etc.

Good Luck!

Don't put toothpaste on your face, there's no science behind that and you could furhter irrtate your skin which will lead to more breakouts. Ask your parents if there is something you can do around the house like cooking dinner, or chores, or both for a larger allowance.

First of all -- DRINK ALOT OF WATER. It seriously makes your skin more clearer, if you stick to it, drinking atleast 8 glasses of water a day.

Also, Klear Action has the same ingredients as Proactiv, and it's cheaper, only about $20 I think.
