Skin-So-Soft works for insect repellent very well. I empty my hummingbird feeders a lot and if I apply Soft-So-Soft, the bees eating from the feeder will not sting me.
It is great to use after a shower or bath. I love it. Keep a large bottle on hand all the time.

Yes, and No. If you are using it in your bath water to make your skin soft yes, if you use it to keep mosqitos off of you-No. Well at least on me it doesn't. Oh, it seems like I've heard people say that original is better than the other scents at keeping bugs away?????

It certainly does not only for us but for our animals to. Besides keeping fleas off them, it helps with dry skin and does repel ticks, and mosquitos. Greatest product Avon ever came up with. Use it on horses and it helps keep the flies off them.

Yes it does. There's something in it which helps repel bugs from biting you as well.

for a little while. it works better on dogs to get rid of fleas though.
