as long as it meets the API standard of GF-4 you will be ok. Make sure you look at your cap it should be 5w20 oil. Any brand is good as long as like I said it is GF-4 rated.

I use supertech and whatever I can buy cheap.
Supertech will also work for you
BUT
You will notice your car will use more oil
Use a good oil for such a great vehicle like yours..
I used to race Honda Civics and the only oil I would use was *Mobil 1* synthetic
This is the best choice I could find for the track..

Quality is like buying oats. If you want nice, fresh, clean healthy wholesome oats, ya gotta pay the price. IF on the other hand, you can be satisfied with oats that have already been through the horse, THOSE come a bit cheaper.
THAT said, just because you pay more does necessarily mean you are going to get more. You have to shop and compare.
If you don't work in the automotive industry, it is a bit of a daunting task to even know what questions to ask.
This link is a very good place to start, as these people are the leaders of the industry, and don't have an ax to grind concerning brands or producers.---->

Depends on your car, if your timing best hasn't been changed, use what's in the cap 5w20. Use full synthetic preferred. Last longer and makes yur car run better. If you have some miles on your car, use 10w30. Your civic will run good and you won't have a lot of oil loss. Always use full synthetic. It cost you a couple dollars more but it last longer and your car will run better.

It all comes from the same place, the ground. Sometimes it's even made in the same place, they just put a different label on it. At least, that's what my 17 year old says. And you know how much teenagers know (Well, he did take auto tech!)
