Anyone else think Ernesto is going to be a bad hurricane? (Haha, and funny the song "Rock you like a hurricane" just came on where I'm at) Anyway, what do you think? Not that I'm hoping it's bad, but do you think it will be?

I pray it wont be bad, but I read earlier today that it might be a category 3 by the time it hits the US

If the wind shear doesn't weaken it over the next day or so (which hasn't happened), then it will definitely be a major threat. The Gulf waters - particularly the loop current - are quite warm for this time of year.
Not to mention the fact that there are no other weather systems that can weaken it once it makes it into the Gulf.
There's a good chance that this could explode into a Category 3 or 4 hurricane by Tuesday. If I lived anywhere from LA to the FL panhandle, I'd be thinking about my options...

I live in Orlando, Fl and I hope it's not katrina bad, but I do love hurricanes!

I WILL slap a ho that says sh*t like that. I moved away after all that happened and I still cry just knowing that there might be another one. I really think that people are really going to lose it if it comes back to us. I am still trying to recover from Katrina.

Last I knew it was heading to the Gulf coast and unfortunately, the storms usually pick up steam there.
Hope it fizzles out, for the sake of everyone and anyone in it's path.
