I was just wondering.im 16 and giving my baby up for adoption. As much as i already love him,I know that the family I am giving him to will be a better provider to him than I will.I was just wondering if anyone else on here was in the sam situation.

this is very personal.I got pregnant when i was your age, and i choose to keep him, my friend got pregnant and gave her baby to a family. I think what you are doing is honerable and this family will hold a special place a special place in thier hearts for you forever. also, know your options about closed adoption vs open adoption. My friend, her name is deanna, felt a lot of pain for a long time also, but she just couldnt take care of that baby the way she knew they could. Ive done well, in college now, married and with a second baby my son is 5 and in school.
good luck

No, I'm 23 and pregnant with baby number 2 " married by the way to there father" but I never in my life personally could give my baby up... I know it's a personal decison but one of my friends mother's has had 9 kids she is the oldest and everyone but her and the youngest who is 5 have been given up for adoption I just believe if you know you can't raise a child at any age then you don't need to be having sex. I didn't have sex for the first time until I was 19 for that exact reason. I wish you the best of luck but you need to think long and hard do you don't regret any decision you decide to make.

Im glad you decided to do the most honorable thing for everyone. Your really young and i think the worst thing for girls that do get preg around your age is to keep the baby.
Good thing you picked your babys family, you can safely know he will be ok.
I was adopted and my adoptive parent died 4 yrs after she adopted me. Ever since ive been living with my adoptee sister her hubby. It really sucks that i never could relate to anyone in my family.
I just found my birthfamily last week and meet them.
Make sure you give your baby all the information he needs so when he needs to find you he can.
Write him letters and tell the parents to give it to him when hes old enough to understand.

You made a wonderful decision. My aunt adopted two children and my whole family loves them as if she has had them the whole time.
Abortion is the murdering of the innocent.
The most hippocritical person is the one who is pro choice and anti-death penalty. Should we kill the innocent and not the guilty?

I honestly don't know, but I congratulate you for making this decision. My wife adopted a little girl and we love her very much. We are in contact with her mother frequently (which was a choice we all made) and it has been absolutely wonderful. I wish you the very best!
