I'm an event planner and my client wants to plan a party for her daughter at a hotel that would have a Barbie (or another polular character) suite, very custom made, very VIP. Any event planners that can help?

Well as everyone has stated already, no, you will not find a Barbie themed room at Disney. I do not know of any anywhere in Florida, actually. But I think a Disney Princess room would be very nice!
I recommend contacting the management at one of these top Disney Resorts:
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa
Disney's Contemporary Resort
Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa
Visit www.disneyworld.com for contact information for each hotel. They will be able to help you plan the best suite for this little girl.

Best of luck!

No. Barbie is not a Disney character, and therefore you will not find a Barbie themed suite at a Disney resort. If you are a resourceful event planner, I would say you could manage to decorate in such a manner to customize the party experience to the little girl's preferences. Disney resorts will assist you in recognizing a child's birthday in a special manner, and if you stay in one of the premium resorts, the concierge can assist you in making arrangements.

Barbie is made by Matel, not the Disney Company, so no, there are no Barbie-themed rooms at any of the Disney Resorts. The only thing you'll see Barbie-related is Disney Princess Barbie dolls. I don't even know of any specific Disney Character-themed rooms. Try calling a Walt Disney World Planner or one of the Resorts.

If you're an event planner, you get paid for the job, and you should be able to do the research yourself, rather than be lazy and ask people on the computer.

No, they do not. She's not Disney. I would suggest the Doubletree Castle on I-Drive. If you ahve never seen it, it is a hotel that is modeled after a castle, very cute and nice. They also do not have a Barbie room (I don't think anywhere in Orlando does), but I am sure if you wanted to do something there, you could call them up and arrange something with them. You could do a Barbie Princess themed room there... just a thought!

I'm not an event planner, but I would say no because Disney does not make Barbie. There are probably Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, etc themed suites.

My best suggestion would be to contact one of the Disney hotels directly and speak to management. Barbie is not affiliated with Disney so you would have better luck with one of their characters (any Disney princess would do.) You don't say whether the party is to be in Floriday or California. I think the Disneyland hotel in anaheim has themed rooms, but you could probably contact any travel agent for suggestions too.
Good luck

I know they don't have barbie, its not a Disney character, as for other themed rooms I'm not sure if they even have them, if your client is willing to spend big bucks I'm sure they would help you out and decorate a room for you? Other wise call them and ask, they should be able to help you out somehow!!

Contact Disney directly. (the number is on the website)

If you do go with a Disney resort, make sure to mention the child's birthday...they will help to make it extra "magical".
