Life was wondeful pre 9/11and pre three natural disasters on the Gulf Coast in a two year period closing down refineries, which helped lend to the spike in gasoline prices. Your probably right, turn a blind eye. And if you are refering to the Darfour Region of the Sudan, if Bush did send our troops there your would complain about that too.

PS- I think tri-care is doing alright, my dad just paid 3,000 dollars for a 1.25 million dollar hospital stay. Anyway my brother served during the first Gulf War, retired 20 years from the Air Force and my dad served 20 years in the Air Force during Vietnam and the canabolization of the military during the Carter administration. Anyway thanks for your opinions and doing what you do to help our Veterans. May God bless them.

We should not be there. Both sides have innocent victims and it needs to stop.

Don't justify our troops being there by this though. There are literally hundreds of thousands being killed in 3rd world countries but what do we do about that? Nothing. When have we helped a nation of black people who are being tortured? Never. Why? because there's no money in it.

If there wasn't any oil in the middle east we wouldn't care less about it. Don't be self righteous trying to say we're helping someone. Our poor soldiers are being put in a no win situation.

From the Germans invading Russia in WWII, to Vietnam, to this war. You cannot beat an army when your fighting on their terms, on their land.

We shouldnt' be there at all. When Bush's air head party animal kids go, then I'll believe in it. It doesn't take ANY courage to send other peoples kids to die.

Also, the Republican backed bill earlier this year that decreased the benefits to our veterans' was evil. Support our troops? When will the president and congress do it. This is a classic scene showing why our troops are having so many problems when they come back. I know; I own a medical corporation and I've had to use my own money to give services to Veterans because of the decrease in benefits.
