Snowbirds is another name for tourists from out of state that move to your city or town for tourist season and raise the price of rent that the landlords charge; hence the term "tourist season". I live in Palm Springs and we get snowbirds from September to May our Tourist Season and although we really depend on the extra added income that they bring in to the community, we complain about them all the time, because alot of them are really elderly people that can't drive and need large telephone books to sit on to see over the steering column (LOL). But all in all snowbirds are not hazardous to a community. As long as they stay off the roads.

They are evil Northern Climate birds that go south for the winter, or retirement.
They cause housing prices to increase, slow traffic, lines everywhere...especially at golf courses...

They come in caravans to Florida. We must be very careful of them. There driving is pretty bad, there cheap, no tip. They crowd our beaches, looking more like beached whales. Disregard our Laws, they stay for at least 6 months. They will be ariving around Thanksgivng, last till Easter. Oui, Oui, go somwhere else!!!!
