My 10 year old daughter's school counselor has told her that she believes she has what it takes, but my daughter does not have the full concept of the meaning. I cannot figure out how to put it into words. Can someone PLEASE help? Thank you so very much!

i would say use examples..i always used strong leadership examples..funny as it may seem like captain kirk ..he a good example albeight overblown...posture,descion making abilty,respect of juniors and acceptance of responsibilty for your action are all traights that good leaders posses..not much help im sorry but i mean that find strong leadership exaples (positve) and then let her see how those people act and she will agin much from it i think..good luck and sorry

to a 10 yr. old~
the best leaders are ones that don't want to be leaders and they do the right thing b/c they know it is the right thing to do.
They don't argue or fuss...they help other people/friends to also do the right thing...and a good leader knows that they are not always right.
A good leader learns from "everybody."
on the good side of being a leader is you get to help others learn with you and you learn that everything is easier when you work together.

A leader is someone that others WANT to follow. Give your daughter examples of good and bad leaders.

explain to her medophorically that it school is a gme of follow the leader and instead of following all the other trends make her own
