I humbly suggest that you study world history. People have been conquering people since we climbed down from the trees. Phoenecians, Sumarians, Spartans, tales of conquered tribes/peoples abound. You need to stand back and look at the big picture.
Hispanics were the people who conquered the Indians from the (current) USA southward. It was part serendipity, part luck. Had the Europeans not done it precisely when they did, the Asians would have come from the West and started in California. Sad to say, it was inevitible, and due to the stage of the culture present at the time in what is now America, it is likely that the other culture would have taken it over just the same.
We NOW have a singular opportunity, due to the foresight of the founding fathers, to make this the best country ever. The differing cultures and people make up the rich and wonderful tapestry that this country is.
My grandfather grew up in Mexico, and due to prejudice at the time, did not teach the language to my dad. What a loss........Even though I do not speak Spanish as fluently as I would like, I love the Mexican culture and all they stand for.
So to respond to your question: WHAT community? The one you have arbitrarily created, based largely on economics, language and religion? The American community, or the larger HUMAN community. Broaden your mind, make being human higher in your priority list than being Hispanic.

America is an internationally recognized country with distinct borders and laws. You are a criminal. This is NOT an hispanic or Indian community. Our misfortune is believing we are all the same, freeing the oppressed and giving everyone a fair shake. Because this is what we are getting in return.

if that is the way you feel then you should follow your harritage all the way back to mexico and stop complaining. I dont know how many times your kind thinks that just because you pile god knows how many people into a few homes in an area you think that you can call this yours?? If your having such a problem with us americans then take this americans advice and go back, I am
sure your neighbors would probally say the same thing i did.
(and on your way out, do yourself a favor and pick up a english dictionary so that at least you can say that while you were here we taught you how to speak correctley.)

I don't know what community you are talking about. I'm what you would call a gringo and I date a Hispanic, I spend a lot of time with her family and I spend a lot of time in the Hispanic community. I'm always made to feel welcome. BTW I am also part American Indian and that part is telling you that we don't like bigots like you in OUR community!

the Hispanic community where we aren't welcome??
FYI I'm white and i LIVE in a Hispanic community, and I'm plenty welcome. almost all of my friends are Hispanic, or some sort of 'minority'. so get off your high horse and stop judging people because of their skin color!
what i see are two different types of people:
good people, and
bad people
i don't see any color, all ethnicity's have crappy people.

I am white & my great grandmother was a full blooded indian & I know how you feel. I am also jewish from my dads side. So I really know what discrimination & hate is. Plus as you can tell by my screen name I am in a interracial relationship with a black man. So I really really really know what discrimination, hate, humiliation,& racism feels like from the hands of other people.

I was born on American soil, so therefore, I KNOW I belong here, as does every other person, regardless of race, color, etc, who was born in this country, and those that enter LEGALLY. And I'm sure this next bit of info will really please you, guess what, I'm married to a Hispanic man and his whole family, those that live here and wheres he's from, welcome me and love me. So, whats your problem? Get over yourself.

Maybe because some of them are decent unlike you. If you don't like it here in the USA, pick any other country and leave. Maybe your a hateful racist. It's people like you that give your heritage a bad name.
My latin friends are like family to me, and the same goes for me in their familes, its all about love and tolerance, maybe you should try it.
