Just got lost in a very seedy part of Morecambe, Lancashire, UK and some chavs wanted to 'fire our tyres', as we didn't know what this means, we couldn't answer. What does it mean???

Where they in a car, perhaps it meant they wanted to race you?, or check out your cars performance by taking it for a drive?

It's their way of saying, 'burn rubber' which is what happens under fast acceleration.

Whether they meant to race you or steal your car I have no idea.
