Personally, next to "scissor" style, doggy is my favorite. However, it hurts a LOT if the guy doesn't give the girl enough control. The girl can feel the guy's penis poking her other organs inside. There could be many reasons for her refusal. You need to ask her.

1. It might hurt. Doggie allows for pentration to the back of the vagina/cervix. Perhaps it just hurts when you go in straight away like that (you size is irrelevant - sorry). If this is the case, then you can help her control how deep you go. Try not to hang on to her thighs (this doesn't give much freedom for her to move), and let her do the thrusting. it could be that it hurts her or another more embarassing problem... the first time i had sex we tried doggy style and due to the position and the action i made some weird noises down there!! i got really humiliated and never tried that position till a couple of months ago so that might be a reason dont pressure her if she doesnt like it try to find something you both really like... good luck with everything

Your gf may not necessarily have a problem. Have u thought that u may be well-endowed!! Seriously, doggy style feels totally different from missionary and she may feel it in her back and stomach. Ask her if its painful or what she doesn't like about it. If pain is the problem, allow her to do the moving until she's comfortable with you stroking her.
