Most girls don't stop growing till there 15 or 16 at least. And no one is ever too short....look at Mugsy Bogus...enough said.
She can always work on dribbling, passing, and the basic skills. There is never an end to fundamentals. It may sound stupid, but the better you are at the basics, the better you will be as a player. I'm playing softball in college right now, and we do basics everyday of practice. Also, as important as basketball is to her, make sure she knows she can't get there without an education. Make sure she works hard in school. We must maintain a 2.0 to stay on the team, and a 3.0 to have no required study hours.
Regardless, she's young and should enjoy that while she can. Life only gets harder. She has plenty of time to develop skills and learn the art of the game.

She is definetly not too short. Not all for women's ball. As with most sports, hustle is what separates players, especially in basketball. If she is finished growing, she's gonna be a guard.
She needs to work on her ball handling skills. Particularly her off-hand. What separates good ball handlers from great ones, or the gaurds that start from those that ride the bench, are the gaurds that can dribble equally good with either hand. After that I'd recommend her working on mid-range jumpers and free-throws. Wish her luck!!

That is perfectly fine for her age and gender. It's not a necessary thing to be the tallest on the court. I've played with people much shorter than the rest of the team who bested almost every player he faced. If you're determined, anything can be yours.

is she starting at the school she plays. she needs to work on defense. one steal a game is 2 points. she gets 2 or 3 that is 4 to 8 points by herself. dribbling, both hands, lay ups, defense drills. 5 ft 7--- she better be a point guard or shooting gurad. do sprints, power slides, quick feet. drives to the basket. abitlity to pass.
find a skills coach to work one on one. hate to say it, she wont play at duke unless she scores in the high 20's at 5 ft 7. she has to be a guard . plus, she shouldnt want to they suck. are ya'll from NJ. Only NJ people go to dook.
good luck with training.

Heck no. That's not even too short for the men. (Remember Mugsy Bouges?) Regardless of what position she wants to play, conditioning and strength training are good starts. Just get out and shoot hoops, practice dribbling, rebounding and ball handling. Best of luck to her.
(Sidebar- good choice of college; anywhere but Carolina!)

she'll still grow taller. You gotta put her into perspective first, though. Get basketball scholarship first.

You can never be too short for basketball. You'll just have to work harder if your shorter.
