The earliest is 7 months old, only in a sippy cup. It's recommended that he have no more than 4oz a day. Since juices tend to give kids a sweet tooth a lot of parents, such as myself, dont introduce until after a year old, unless the baby is constapated. If you do choose to give him juice, it's best to dilute it with some water. Good luck.

According to the Gerber website it ssays:
-When should I start my baby on Gerber juices?
"The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that juice can be a part of a baby's healthy, well-balanced diet anytime after the age of 6 months."
Breast milk is the best milk, but since you're baby is not getting any of that the next best is Nestle, Carnation Follow-Up
Infant Milk, that's according to Epinons.com. Here is the highest rated baby milk formula to the lowest. Here's the link, you should read the reviews which are from other mother's as yourself: http://www.epinions.com/kifm-Health-Nursing_and_Feeding-Formula-All-Milk
As far as your baby 'refusing the bottle' you should read on this link, other's who have asked the same question:http://sg.answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20060824131615AAjaZjP Also read this link for ways of making your baby wanting to drink out of the bottle: http://www.mother-2-mother.com/bottles.htm
Here is another suggestion: "Occasionally a baby will refuse to drink from any type of cup or bottle. In this case, try feeding baby milk with a spoon, dropper or syringe. If baby has started solids, mix the solids with lots of milk. You might also try a momsicle, ice cream, yogurt or a smoothie made with the milk."

Between 4 and 6 months is when most babies start juices and solids. As for actual milk, you shouldn't start until baby is a year old. Use formula instead of milk. Your baby should still be getting that. As for when to exactly start your baby, your baby should be seeing their pediatrician at age 2 months, 4 months, and 6 months, so you should really be asking your pediatrician.
