Yeah. IN 1978. There was a HUGE Country and Western show on in Scotland. There were 6 stages involved and 15 amatuer bands plus Dolly Parton as the main star with her own band. At "half time" a few of us weree on one of the stages just having a jam together when Dolly came on the stage and sang three numbers with us to give us a bit of practice playing with a "Big Pin" as it were. Boy, that was totally AWESOME!!! My band? It was called "Logos".

Yes. I was visiting friends in Edinburgh and found that one of them had arranged for me to be on stage with my guitar for 30 minutes, singing in front of about 900 people.
The audience groaned when I spoke with an English accent, so I sang a song in Welsh and tagged on an extra verse in Scottish Gaelic. After that I could do no wrong - thank goodness they didn't ask for another in Welsh or Gaelic, because I don't know any more.
Great fun!

Yes...I was asked to stand in for a few tour dates as the bass guitarist for a Pink Floyd tribute band as their bassist was in a rehab clinic...a few gigs turned into 15 months (he never went back to the band) but i absolutely hated the lifestyle on the road so i gave them plenty of chance to get someone else and jacked it in.

Yep,

I was on the Bozo Show (okay, I know this is dating me!). I was chosen from the studio audience to be his assistant.

I was also on a newscast, I was interviewed following a candlelight vigil for a friend's child.
