Like surveillance in a raid, like the Secret Service wears? Small ear pieces that easily fits into your ear with a tiny microphone. Is it called a head set or something else? This is for knowledge for my novel, that law enforcement uses. (I wasn't sure what category this would fit in?)

Its what you already said, and ear piece or a headset. I call it a tactical ear piece or tactical headset.
