The things not to look forward to is morning sickness. gaining weight, labor/contrations
But the good things are Hearing the babies heartbeat for the first time, Feeling the baby move for the first time, letting someone else feel the baby move for the first time (cause you will feel the baby moving before you can let others feel it.), being able to hold your baby for the first time.

well every pregnancy is differant, I am one of the women everyone else hates no morning sickness heartburn or any of the other horrible side effects, now though that I am in the late third trimester(35 weeks) I have had serious insomnia I have not slept more than 4 hours a night for the last 2 weeks. It is so worth it though, the babykicking and moving around and just understanding how incredible the female body actually is, being able to actually grow a baby in stomach is such mind boggling thing to me and no matter how bad things are being pregnant is such a blessing.

Look forward to having the most important job in your lifetime. MOM
There are so many ups and downs but it's all worth it.
Just remember the first months are really rough with lack of sleep so nap when the babies napping.
It will seem like your getting nothing done but you really are so make a list so you dont beat yourself up. Make sure to ad everything feeding baby changing diappers etc.
CONGRATS!

Good news...the looking forward to out-weighs the NOT looking forward to.
looking forward to~
hearing the heartbeat the 1st time, seeing the baby inside of you, feeling the baby, meeting your newborn the 1st time!!!! ACTUALLY creating a life! you are now a mommy, having some little baby girl or boy...look up to you and love you like no other love you have EVER experienced before, the simple laughs and coos from the baby makes your tired and stressful day...worthwhile!! :)
tickling, wrestling, swimming, running, playing ball, first words, walking the first time, riding their 1st bike...letting them sit in your lap driving down a camp (or OFF road) dirt road, reading, bath time (baby smell!!)
When your baby learns how to say grace (or even holding their hands together as they listen to you/family say grace/prayers)
Your baby in their pre-school bringing home their homework...and they did OUTSTANDING!!!! :)
Very proud moments...throughout life,
finding out that if your baby gets sick or hurt....that it is OKAY...they are ALLRIGHT!
The grandparents spoiling/babysitting for you one night/weekend!
parents will blow your mind sometimes with "your" children...(i.e. "that's MY dad....spoiling a child!!!! haha)
Not looking forward to~
morning sickness (sometimes ALL DAY sickness~like my 1st!)
feeling like you are going to just literally POP/explode!!
the labor pains...contractions...
having a hard time getting out of bed (one b/c you want to keep sleeping and 2 b/c it does get LITERALLY HARDER TO JUST GET OUT OF BED!!!)
the stress of motherhood, the crying at night, less sleep for you for 18 years!!!
babies getting sick/hurt
"The grandparents spoiling the baby/babies!!!" LOL :)
the 1st time you have to discipline your child and you break their heart...(now I know what my mama & daddy meant when they said this hurts me more than it hurts you.)
...and the "babies growing up TOO FAST..."
ok...so that was a little more than the pregnancy....but it helps you get through the hard part of the pregnancy!!!
ENJOY IT AND TAKE IT ALL IN WHILE YOU CAN.....
IT FLYING BY FOR ME....VERY QUICKLY.
