I think it's disgusting if you sit on toilet seats. Other people are sitting on them also, and basically, you're sharing the stuff on your butt skin with them. That's just asking for an infection.
Some people put toilet paper on the seats. Waste of paper, I say.
I squat when I go on the toilet. As well as keeping my butt free from other people's butts, it's better for the legs too. Also, it makes me finish quicker, because it puts some strain on my legs.
Why do people still sit on toilet seats when it's obvious that they're sharing the touch with someone else? It just isn't healthy

Even if it doesn't have that much risk of infection, you're basically touching your butt to someone else's butt.
Would you directly contact your butt with someone else's butt? I think not.

Do you touch the door handles and and faucets, cause i can guarantee those are dirtier.Shopping carts are covered in fecal matter too.Unless there is poo on someones cheeks,it probably isn't as dirty as one would think. But i do squat too,it's habit.

In a world where many countries have thousands of people dying of diseases for which we have readily-available preventative care, vaccines and cures, and where people have water that is too unclean to drink, where the streets are littered with animal and human waste and there is no way to keep food fresh, I consider myself fortunate to live in a country where I am highly unlikely to contract any form of disease from a public toilet seat, and where tap water isn't even good enough for many people. Glad you're able to protect yourself and finish more quickly, but I really don't sweat that sort of thing because I have seen "unsanitary", and I have seen "unhealthy". If you think that's disgusting, oh well...if it makes you feel better, I wash my hands.

as far as i know there is no threat of infection or any illness associated with sitting on a toilet seat.butt i agree it is gross. when we were kids we teased each other about catching the "koodies" from sitting on a public toliet seat.

And how many people touch the handle, and the door leaving and just splash a little water on there hands and go. They just touched a handle and door that people just used their hand to wipe and whatever else they did.

how else you suppose to go if you don't sit to go. sometimes you can't hold it til you get home. Kinda hard to do if your at work for 10 hours. Thats why they have the paper things you can put on the seats.

if the toilet looks clean then i'll go poop on it but i'll put down about three or four toilet covers seats. if you have to go then you have to go, it hurts much longer if you don't get your poop out immediately.

I'm not sure we really needed to know about your bathroom habits. Ya know, some things are better left unsaid.
