It can. The heat from the dryer can shrink the garment or damage the fabric. I wouldn't advise it.

Must be the grammar but.. you want to machine dry a 'line dry only' pair of pants?

If so, expect parts to shrink. You may create ruffles.

No...people dried their clothes on lines for years before the dryer was invented. It won't ruin your pants.

They will probably shrink, which is why they say line dry.

Not if you use the tumble dry or air fluff option. I do it all the time.

Yes if you dry them in a dryer it could srink them. and they might fall apart. srry.
