No Joke, good luck on finding a place cheap. I've heard like $40 or more for them kinds of keys...Let alone to program for your vehicle.

For an electronic key you have to go to the dealer, there is no way around it. No cheap fix. Suck it up and pay the price. VW keys are around 100-200 bucks and that's about the middle of the road for that.

Probably somewhere like Home Dept or Lowes...if you have one of those near you.
