Listen, give the answer by listening to the heart. If people live with them there is always a fight in joint family. if people live seperately they are left alone!!!

Different cultures have different ideas. I would not like to live with my parents after marriage but I would give them support if they needed it.

I know what you are saying. That is very difficult. It would depend a lot on the in-law (your husband) I get the idea that he is saying "no". At this point, I don't know what advice to give. It could split the marriage. Can something else be worked out for the parents? Could you buy a two unit house--I have seen that done. How far away do you live--do you work--could you go in daily. Just some thoughts. Good luck.

Yes I agree. You can't live with your parents forever! When you are married you have to live your own life. Not live with your parents. You might live with them for a few weeks or so, untill you can find a home and then move out. Good Luck! ^-^

That's half the purpose of marriage! You're supposed to be grown up and ready to begin the cycle of life anew, as the head of the household, not as a child with a live doll!
