watch your bill! sprint messes with this all the time, and since nextel merged...just watch it.

Overall it's a pretty good company. The phones aren't perfect, but whose are?

One neat feature (although it is no longer exclusive to Nextel) is that it has a built in two-way radio.

Nextel is with sprint and they are kind of expensive but if you have a lot of family and friends that have nextel or sprint who you talk to a lot then you should stay with them.

In my area I used them for a long time because of the walkie talkie function.

However, the signal *in my area* sucked. So I switched to Verizon and haven't had any issues.

Oh and I'm saving about $1000 a year now.
