A lot of things helps me.
1 - laying down and pulling my knees all the way to my stomach. [believe me- it sounds harder than it is]
2- Exercising
3- 2 motrin or advil
4- Midol [can be found in a pharmacy]
5- taking a rest / napping for a bit
6- not overdoing it. don't stress your body out. It will ONLY MAKE IT WORSE!!
i hope my info helps
the best of luck!

My doctor told me to take ibuprofen a few days before my period starts instead of waiting until I was in real pain and it worked pretty well for me. Good luck!

Pamprin Max strength multi symptom!!!
If two pills doesn't do it, I take one more within the hour and it does.
I also use a hot water bottle or a heating pad. THerma care patches are awesome for away from home use!!! THey stay hot for 8hrs!!! I wouldn't live without my heating products during my period!!!! THey do wonders!!!!

Take 2 or 3 EXTRA strenth midol.. don't lay down! It will only make it worse... get up and walk around. If it still hurts do some exercises, go for a walk, BUT SERIOUSLY laying down will only make it worse! ( at least for me)

Exercise! It just stops them completely.
Try and avoid caffeine and excess salt before your periods to prevent them.
If they are really bad each month and nothing you try gets rid of the pain, then see your doctor.

believe it or not, intercourse is great for easing your cramps. Sounds strange but it's true.
