I know that this works on glass and such, use a dry erase marker and mark on top of the perminit marker it might work on leather.

Call or visit a furniture store near you, and ask them about the spot. How long it's been there may determine if it's going to come out. Usually, leather is ruined this way, but you might have some hope.

I disagree w/ the person who said to use the Magic Eraser. I use that ME on many things, but I would NEVER use it on leather furniture. It's much too rough for that. You'd probably remove some of the color of the leather with the marker, IF it came off.

I would try hairspray or nail polish remover (w/ acetone), but test an inconspicuous spot first. I got perm marker on a chair once and a baby wipe worked. You never know...

I'd try the mr clean magic eraser sponge. I find it at Walmart, in the sponge section, and it's only about $2-$3 for two sponges. It works well. I've taken my son's crayon markings off the walls, books, marker off drinking glasses that were from a yard sale. I've been able to clean off scuff off the kitchen floor with it, that normally won't budge with regular cleaning.

All you do is wet it a little, then rub the spot.

Depending on the color, you can try dawn dish soap and water. Try it on a test spot on the leathe where no one can see it if it takes the color. I have used it on many leather couches. I can tell you if you have a red couch, DONT try it! it will take the color. Put alittle dawn on a wet cloth and try the spot, follow with a rinse cloth. Good Luck!
