I work in the travel industry and when I first started out at 18 I worked for a company that organised Christmas trips to Lapland.
I acompanied a trip from Belfast to Finnish Lapland.
It was as good as you'd expect. We went to Santa's village, had trips on snowmobiles and saw reindeers.
The only drawback for me going on this trip was that I had to wear a fairy outfit on board the aircraft. Great for my streetcred.
Could have been worse my 35 year old colleague had to wear a pixie outfit and looked a right div!

We are going this year with a compnay called emagine who are supposed to be the best-they have a website -emaginetravel.co.uk I think-check out their feedback it is very good-not cheap mind!
