I had what felt like period pains but more sharp, tender breasts and very very tired. I also felt slightly sick, but not enough to be sick (the actual night sickness started at 6 weeks!)
Everyone is different as the replies will show you, so the test is the only real way or knowing as symptoms could just be period symptoms (or hoping symptoms!).

I thought I was before my period. I was anxious for it to come and well it never did. After the week that I was supposed to have my Period ended I finally just said heck, there is a good chance I could be pregnant and then again my uncle just died so it may just be from stress even though i have never missed a whole one before. So I took two over the counter 1$ pregnancy test and it was only like 1 second and they were positive. That was on a friday so on Monday I went to my local health clinic they did one and yep sure enough. But, one of the main reasons I even thought I was before my period didn't come was because I was really really hungary and if I didn't keep something on my stomache I got very nausous. I know that sounds to early but I think it has to do with the fact that I was 99 pounds. But I hope that you can benefit from this. Holler back at me if you have any questions. Good Luck and I really hope that you get the result your hoping for. (I did)!

The only way to know for sure is by taking the test. Sometimes you won't have symptoms for several weeks. I find that almost all women have sore and tender breasts as a common symptom. Other things like morning sickness vary from woman to woman, but breast tenderness seems to be the most common symptom women share when they're first pregnant.

If a test won't do, go to the doctors office or hospital. They can do a blood test. Otherwise, you're just going to have to wait for the test.

My boobs were hurting and my period was a little over a week late. One night I went to the hospital for kidney pains and the doctor told me that I was pregnant.

A regular drug store pregnancy test should detect pregnancy
very soon after conception...
Go down and read the back of the packages...
