I grauated from school a year early and not starting college until next year. I'm watching a farm for some friends that are out of the country, there are no towns around and I have no friends this far from home.

They have some cows, and chickens does anyone know how to milk a cow or find chicken eggs ?

I'm not for sure if they are milk cows, I thought all cows were milk cows. I grauated from school a year early and not starting college until next year.

They have a rifle here, my grandfather taught me how to target shoot and got me a hunting license. I've never killed an animal before but my grandmother used to make the worlds best rabbit stew. They have rabbits on the farm. I don't know how I would feel about shooting a rabbit, but I love rabbit stew. Does anyone have a recipe for rabbit stew, or would I feel bad after shooting one? I also found hidden, bottle of wine, I took wine in communion and it made me feel good, should I try a few sips before going rabbit hunting?

I find it really hard to believe that your friends left you there with no food and no way of getting any. Don't shoot the rabbits. Take the eggs from the chickens and eat them- fried scrambled what have you.

If you have never milked a cow before it can be a little tricky. I have milked a goat- you give them a bowl of chow - get a hand high up on each udder and squeeze- If you do an Internet search 'how to milk a cow' you'll get more detailed advice.

Drink a lot of water- stay hydrated. Skip the wine. Ou there by yourself- you are better off without it.

Good luck. Do they have a vedgie garden or fruit trees?

Uh! NO! Do not mix wine and rabbit shooting. You might hit yourself in the foot instead. Even if you shoot a poor bunny, you would also have to skin it. Instead, buy some fresh rabbit (at an Amish market), bake it in the over for 2 hours at 325. Be sure and cover it with a little slat and pepper, some carrots and celery pieces, onions, potatoes and a bit of wine too. Enjoy.

Don't get freaky with the cows now. I am sure you would love to pull on their ****. As for the rabbits, leave them alone too. Just eat up all the food in the fridge. I am quite sure they have fresh veggies in the garden. Drink all the wine you want to. Just don't hop in the buggy and go riding off anywhere.

What the heck....polish off the wine, take the gun and kill yourself a cow. They're much tastier than rabbits and harder to miss.

Good luck

Chikens are usually sitting on their eggs so you'll have to take them away, and cows have milk when they have a baby cow hanging around them, you have to pull and squeeze.

You graduated a year early huh? Why on earth would your friends ask you (a completely inexperienced person) to "watch" their farm for them?
Lay off the wine by the way......
