I used to get my Yahoo mail through Outlook/Outlook Express using the pop3 configuration.
Then Yahoo decided to charge for it.
With all the email providers available, I refuse to pay a fee.
Unless you have too much money...get your email online or use a different provider.

*Incoming Mail (POP3) Server: pop.mail.yahoo.com (Port 110)
* Outgoing (SMTP) Server: smtp.mail.yahoo.com (Port 25)
* Account Name/Login Name: your Yahoo! ID (your email address without the "@yahoo.com")
* Email Address: your Yahoo! Mail address (e.g., user@yahoo.com)

you can do as i have done... download Ypops and install it and then use outlook express.. this method is free....

I don't believe Yahoo supports POP downloading, unless you have a sbcglobal.net account...
