Ask: why is she having an affair? Sometimes things aren't as simple as they seem. Sometimes having an affair is the lesser of 2 evils -- 1 evil of hurting a significant other who may not be in a position to stand the loss (financially) or emotionally or the 2nd evil of the affair (obviously she has "unmet needs"). You can be a friend without condoning the behaviour.

Even as her friend all you can do is offer your opinon. You could also give her some ideas to improve her relationship with her signifcant other so she dosn't feel the need to cheat on her hubby. I wouldn't tell her hubby or anyone else as its not your place to do so though. Just stand by her and be her friend. Thats the best you can do for her.

If she's a friend than the fact that you gave her your opinion should not affect your relationship. If you really beleive that she is doing wrong then it is your right to express that to her. Who knows she may even pay attention about what you have said.

You should encourage your friend to break off her affair. She should try to work out the problems with her significant other and seek counseling.

Well in my opinion your being a good friend. Talk to your friend seriously and tell her that its not fair for the person is hurting or is going to hurt.

You should try talking to her again if that does not work stay out of it cause it will get ugly when boy finds out.

Unless they invite you to join in, I'd say stay out of it. Your friend is old enough to make her own decisions.
