I always assumed that most white racist where young males with social problems. After being on yahoo answers for a while. I've noticed that many are female...I see more girls then guys. I also saw a special on TV called the outsiders primetime and they were showing all these white women racist, even one letting her twin girls be the racist version of mary-kate and ashley by singing racist songs and actually touring. Is anybody as surprised as me? Talk about learning something...

I am not stating that there are more white female racist then others. I just didn't know there were so many. If you check my previous questions you'll see my explanation of why black women feel the way they do. No offense to you, but of course your going to feel that black women discrimanate more if you've never experienced discrimination and you get it all at once.

I'm sorry I should have put "I gave an explanation of why SOME black women feel the way they do..."

Well I'm sorry for assuming it was because of your interracial relationship BUT that IS what you made a point to display. Again though if you were always called the little white girl then maybe these black female racist is what you saw on the majority because that's who you saw everyday. If someone asked me who was the most racist I would probably say white males because they were the most racist against me. Jews would probably say german. mexican would probably say american. I'm not trying to start anything with you or be racist here. But being in an interracial realtionship you would think you would have learned not to make an assumption about one group of people.

Bigotry and racism is present in both genders. I saw the previews of these brainwashed children and chose not to watch them on television. Later in life, if they are educated and exposed to the broader scheme of society, they will basically find that they are social rejects and will surely live in embarrassment and regret. On the other hand, they might choose to live blissfully in ignorance.

Nah it's not surprising at all. Racism isn't specific to color or gender. In the movies and on television, though, all we pretty much see are white males and black males with the racist gene...but behind every good (or bad in this case) man is a woman. Sad but racism is probably here to stay among all groups, colors, and sexes..and if racism were to ever die, something else would take its place. Someone is going to hate you for something..I guess that's just life.

It is a little surprising to me as well. However, women have more of a voice these days and are out speaking their mind more and more. This was typically frowned upon just 10 years ago.

As for Y!Answers people can say just about anything and feel free to do so because they hide behind an avatar.

I have seemed to notice that American black women are more racist that white men or women or black men. I am in an interracial relationship and we have a mixed son. I see it a lot more from American black women than anyone else.

I say American in particular, because I know a lot of really sweet African women.

I'm not saying I got it all at once, I've got it my entire life. I grew up in an interracial area, I was always the little white girl. That's all I heard from black women and girls. I wasn't the "right color" to play with them. It didn't come from the men. My family was disrespected because we lived in the mixed section.

Race shouldn't matter, God made us all equal, please don't judge me, that's not your place, and you don't know me.

each body is all diverse such because the races ,what on earth is faulty with acknowledging this and in basic terms manage genuinely each body with politeness. i'm so unwell of listening to the be conscious "racism". that's like sexism. The races are diverse and the sexes are diverse, that doesn't advise you ought to hate both. Sorry , that's not precisely what you requested . I were given slightly over excited the following :-(

It takes all kinds. Why wouldn't women be prejudiced? They are a product of the prejudiced environment they they were raised in.

Didn't know about that. Sorry to hear it. I'm a white female, and I hate racism.

Why exactly should I be surprised that women are racist sometimes?

A few years ago, a man studied racism in such countries as the US; India; and Mexico. He came to a conclusion that at first startled me, but then remembered the reaction of women where I worked when I announced my engagement in 1966 to a Cuban woman.

He said when Anglo (Texas term for whites) explorers moved into a new nation, such as India; or the Americas; or Africa, they tended to get along well with the local people. Some even married local women and had children. The other men as a rule, even if they did not take a wife, visited them as good friends.

What happened when the Anglos started bringing their wives to the new country depended upon the status of women in their earlier society.

The English, such as settled the American Colonies, gave their women very high status, contrary to feminist revisionism. They had a strong role in the family and in the community. So, when they moved into an area where there were "squaw men" or in Africa, men married to local women of color, they immediately decreed there would be no social contact with these dirty, disgusting people.

Further, they would tell their sons, "If you every marry one of these immoral, loose-hipped sluts, you will never again enter my household."

In those countries, today, there is still extreme racism.

The Spanish conquered Mexico. In Spain, it was a male dominated society. The women had the right to life; the right to food and a place to live; and the right to have their children recognized as legal heirs, and that was about it. So, when they complained, the man laughed at them, and continued to associate with their old friends and their families.

Cortes has an Indian mistress. So did a lot of other men of that time.

So, in Mexico, there is a mixed society. And in spite of desperate attempts to portray Mexico as racist by American Black professors, there is little racism in Mexico.

There is a tendency to view light skinned people as more attractive than dark skinned, and this is misconstrued as being the same sort of racism we see in the US today. But, if a person is light skinned, it doesn't matter which ancestry they have, they are considered to be attractive.

Also, the descendants of escaped slaves tend to live in the jungle, much as their ancestors lived 400 years ago, and these profs tend to say that is racism when they are poor. Nonsense. They are poor because they live in the jungle like their ancestors did 400 years ago.

Is this theory correct?

Well, I think so, based on my personal experience.

In 1966, I worked in a high-tech electronics factory. It produced such things as the communications radios for the Moon shots, etc.

When I announced I was engaged to a Cuban refugee from NYC, the women freaked out. I was told be women -- no man made any sort of critical remark -- in no uncertain terms if I married her, no white women would ever have anything to do with me again. I didn't even take it serious.

Why? Well, what they were telling me was if I didn't restrict myself in marriage to about 5% of the world's population, I would be forced in the future to restrict myself to the other 95% of the world's population. This, as you may imagine, did not especially frighten me. Hee, hee.

My mother's reaction to my face was accepting, but behind my back there was a lot of racist remarks, and this continued after I married my second wife, who is Mexican. I finally disowned my family, the smartest thing I probably ever did.

So, as obvious as it is that white women are extremely racist AS A GROUP (which for you public school students means not all of them are the same), why doesn't anyone notice this?

We are a very sexist society. So sexist that when anyone uses the word 'sexist' everyone assumes it is anti-female sexism. Now, that is SEXIST.

In our Anglo culture, it has long before feminism been considered totally unacceptable to criticize any woman anywhere for any reason.

With many decades of this nonsense, I would say most people really believe women never do anything wrong. They don't abuse children; they don't commit adultery; they don't murder anyone; or if they do any of this stuff, some man made them do it!!!!

I simply do not believe there is a good gender and a bad gender. There are good women and there are bad women. There are good men and there are bad men. In Western culture, man are perceived as bad and women are perceived as good, which is pure insanity.

You have all seen here comments by women, not only racist comments, but claims that men are pigs; men are filthy; men are violent. (I note that seldom does a woman object to this vile sexism.) But, one word of criticism of any woman by a man, even of a fiend who sexually mutilated her husband or killed her five kids, and you women vilify him, right?

So, it is unlikely that anyone is going to notice the extreme racism of white women, any more than anyone comments on their extreme sexism.

Let me add a note here. Do not pretend racism is not a problem among black women. I have known black men who married white women, and black women told them they had no right to do that, "You belong to us." (Seriously.)

My wife's best friend is a 91 year old black woman, a real lady. Her daughter hates whites. Her sons both married white women (a friend theorizes they wanted a soft-spoken woman unlike their mother and sisters) and she threw a tantrum. One of the sons heard her, and she hasn't seen him in years. Good man!
