The programme was Mary,Mungo and Midge, narrated by newsreader Richard Baker, it was about a young girl who lived in a top floor flat that had a window box and had a pet dog and a pet mouse. The dog was Mungo and the mouse was Midge. Whenever they used to go out, Midge would always travel along on Mungo's nose.

Is this about Mary, Mungo and Midge? Not sure about Mungo's nose but I think they lived in a flat.

Midge the Mouse.....what a program that was. The sequence in the lift every time. They don't make them like that anymore. And i am sure I had a crush on Mary haha!
