your pc needs to have a s-video jack. i ordered a pc with the s- video jack and now i have a 57" hitachi monitor. its really great.there is also a hd cable available if your toshiba is hd ready. you can turn your tv into a monitor but you cant turn it into a pc. good luck

there is a device that can switch between tv n pc on ur tv.
