Well, I am only 28, so most of these bands are still around....I have seen: Metallica, Marilyn Manson with NIN, Smashing Pumpkins, Gretchen Wilson, The Van Zandts, No Doubt with Bush, and They Might Be Giants.

I went to a concert in the 70's and Jethro Tull was the warm up band for Led Zeppelin. Cool Concert.
Early Alice Cooper ---he was a showman.
Derek and the Dominoes...later Cream...later Eric Clapton that was good. Black Sabbath was real good.

To date myself, when I first started going to concerts they lasted all weekend. You brought along a sleeping bag and just went there for the 3 days. It was wild. Southern California had the best concerts in the late 60's and early 70's. Nothing like today where you pay $100 for 2 hours.

Reba McEntire, Toby Keith, Diamond Rio, Keith Anderson, Trace Adkins, Trent Wilmon, and this summer we attended the CMA Music Fest in Nashville, TN and saw TONS more.
